A Life Lesson From I Kids Show

Sometimes I wonder why it seems that my four year old understands the meaning of getting along with others better then most adults. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he knows every word to this song, All My Friends Are Different by Yo Gabba Gabba.
It could also be the fact that he is 4years old and hasn't been tainted by the worlds harsh criticism yet.  Non the less why can we live in a world where we teach our children to get along with others and understand that people are different, but yet not live it as adults. We sit in traffic and yell mean things at other people, we get aggravate at the barista at the coffee shop for taking to long with our order, we make fun of some girl for her top and pants not matching, we judge people for give their children soda or pop tarts ect.
I'm sure most of you can fill in the above sentence with more then one occurence where you have disliked someone for something they have done or been judge by someone for something you have done. I know it's part of the world we live in, but does that make it right? Just because it is they way it is has never made something right we have seen this through out history.
Maybe it's just me, but I kind of see a problem with this technique. Maybe the solution is to just send adults back to preschool so we can all have a nap time and snack time and that might encourage us all to be a little bit nicer to each other.
